A website for creating your own comic strips

There was a time I spent many of my free hours at a nifty little website that allows people to create their own comic strips: Toondoo.Now while I am busy these days with other projects I have a lot of fond memories with Toondoo and still enjoy visiting to see new 'toons and as well, re-read the comics I made. And I hope someday to get back to my strips making them truly was one of the most relaxing and enjoying pastimes I ever took up.

Toondoo offers members the ability to create strips in a variety of way, such as poseable pre-made characters with the Drag and Drops feature and the popular TraitorR which allows members to create and use their own original characters. There are a number of panels you can choose from, from the single panel toon to the six panel full strip. 'Toon creators can also upload their own images and there are color selections for text. Other features include the ability to create entire books of strips with the BookMaker and the DoodleR, which allows for more creative personal artistic endeavors.

Membership to Toondoo is free, and you have the option to keep your strips private or to show them to the world. Toondoo is a fun site and if you'd like to try out your creative juices in the comic strip world it is a great place to start. I'm posting a few of my own 'toons for examples, which I created under the member name of subDes. Over time I focused most of my creative efforts on two comic strips: Billy & Chad and Clan O'Perry.
